The Office of the Prime Minister Grand Bahama is pleased to share the Department of Transformation and Digitization’s announcement of the expansion of My (Pilot) Services to Grand Bahama.
My (Pilot) Services is an online platform where users can apply and access a range of official government services and conduct safe, secure payments. Since the launch in February, over 2,000 Bahamians in New Providence have registered, and now have active accounts on the portal. Citizens have reported decreased wait times, and increased convenience and efficiency as it relates to attaining certified copies of their documents.
As part of the Phase Two operational strategy, My (Pilot) Services expanded to Grand Bahama. Citizens on Grand Bahama are now able to apply online for certified copies of birth, death or marriage certificates and to renew their Driver’s License.
As of April 2021, applications for Driver's License renewal will be available online in Grand Bahama, Abaco, Eleuthera, Exuma and Long Island. By mid-April the Housing Application, Renewal for Driver’s Licence Permit, Deeds and Documents, the Notary Public License Renewal and New Applications, and by end of April 2021 Post Box Rentals and Applications for new post boxes, will be released to the public.
New services are now available to citizens in New Providence; requests for a certified Police Character Reference, also known as a Police Record and the renewal of the following: e-Passport, Driver’s License, and Firearm License.
The Department of Transformation and Digitization will continue to advance on the road to the digital transformation of The Bahamas. Register on MyPilotServices.gov.bs to apply online for these government services and you too can skip the lines and save time.
